This policy explains what information Mera Hisab (mera-hisab.in, "we") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

In short

• The amounts, dates, photos and PDFs you use in our tools stay on your device. We never receive them.
• You don't need an account, and we don't sell personal data.
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Google may use cookies. You can control this, as explained below.

Information you enter in our tools

All calculators and tools on this site run inside your browser. The amounts, dates, photos and documents you enter or select are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our server.

Some tools may offer to save your data on your device (for example, in your browser's local storage) so it is still there the next time you visit. That data stays on your device, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Information stored in your browser

We store your dark-mode choice in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It is not used to identify you.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server and our content delivery network (Cloudflare) automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. This is used only to keep the site secure and working, and our server logs are deleted after a short period (normally within 14 days). Cloudflare processes this information under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Our tools work without cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you ourselves. The advertising and analytics services described below may set cookies when they are active on this site.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may show advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the site free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices, or in Europe at www.youronlinechoices.eu. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for their consent, through a Google-certified consent message, before cookies are used for personalised ads, and can change their choice at any time.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which tools are popular. It does not use cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not track you across websites; it only records anonymous totals such as page views, the referring site, country and device type. Nothing you enter in our tools is sent to it. Learn more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We may also use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which tools are used, so we can improve them. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location (city level), and your device and browser type. We do not use it to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. All our tools will keep working; ads may just be less relevant.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and similar laws, you can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and raise a grievance about how it is handled. Because our tools never send us your data, we usually hold nothing more than emails you have sent us. Write to us at the address below and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Children

This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to official and other websites for reference. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
